SIS Physics and Astro Day

Last Saturday we teamed up with WiSE (Women in Science and Engineering) to host local middle schoolers for a physics and astronomy day. We gave tours of physics and astronomy labs and ran physics demos. The UCSC Rocket Team led a rocket making activity. Students constructed paper rockets and then launched them. It was a great day!
