The Women of Color Journal Club (WOCJC) was established through members of the WiPA organization to create a space tailored for the empowerment, support, and inclusiveness of women of color (WOC) in the physics and astronomy departments at UCSC. This space is intended for WOC in physics and astronomy to share their interests, network with established female scientists, read literature relevant to the experience of WOC in STEM fields, and become better equipped to pursue a career in physics and astronomy.
